tomorrow's chem s. last paper. blue moo hasnt gave a reply yet, still waiting for updates. qy's gone to taiwan till 19 dec, by then i'm already in ns liao. the day after marks prom night followed by class stayover. jwang mentioned alcohol has some very interesting effects... haha lucky i've kept my hands off those things, except in the lab.

oh yah found some mp3s on my computer just now, like lift up and song 9 by rockapella. whoa. never realised i had them on hard disk. quite interesting songs actually, but as usual you cant really pick out the tenor 2 with much ease. wonder why, is it because he's too soft, or is it because his part is too low to be heard? oh well. i made two midis today, then dear yang helped to correct one of them so it makes more sense. wah. but i'm still quite proud of the effort, and furthermore i realise it is a very real possibilty that this song is usable in this present condition. except, i wasnt too careful on the parts allocation so there's like 4 parts at times and 5 parts at other times, meaning there's a fifth person who doesnt really do anything. could be perc, if not for the fact that it's really hard to make some nice soft perc for this song, so far we havent really heard a hard rock version of if. get what i mean?

since when did i start this "song list" thingy? well it's quite useless for me since erm less than one third of the people actually have an idea of what i'm talking about. oh well. i think maybe i ought to listen to more contemporary pop songs. then again, it's no fun listening to groups like energy and f4.

playing: slide - house jacks

it's weird how come so many house jack songs came up, i only have about 6 lor. anyway this is "one shining example" of what i call a song with more depth. really, if energy can have half their standard maybe i'll take back my words about how much they suck. same for f4. oh well, but this is house jacks, like the publicly acclaimed "at the top of the a cappella scene" maybe not the top top but still somewhere there. look at singapore, gosh. budak is a good one, but we have rather screwed up groups like oh my gosh i forgot their name. oh yah akatones. supposedly sensational but i beg to differ. same for skritch. oh well. not like i'm in any position to say anything. too bad.

hopefully tomorrow can make it down to prac to see how things are. quite a distance away from em's apartment though.
