gosh. today is such a good day for blogging.
i was checking the stack of mail and just as i finished last week's time, this weeks has already creeped up on me. a little on the japanese textbook issue. it's not that difficult to notice that the japanese are very particular about honour, be it personal or family or whatever. can you imagine how difficult it is for a jap to be told that his ancestors have done horrors condemned by the world? that aside, it is no reason to change history. instead we have to accept and learn from it. on the other hand, our dear chinese side recently celebrated intrusion into japanese naval territory. i really dun understand what's the celebration about. it looks like they're just using the textbook incident to bully japan.
short intro to fft. fft is final fantasy tactics. for those who have tried it, you might agree with me that it is, very literally, a very tactical game. it's turned based. it uses a three dimensional grid system. there are varying terrain in the map. you can give commands such as "cast heal 3 on all units in the field with bravery stats in the multiple of 5" usually a simple battle will be at least 10 minutes for me, and that's if i'm not using any calculators. in the job of "archer", there is a command called "charge +20", which means you delay your firing of the arrow by 20 time units, but in exchange you are granted higher accuracy and very high damage. (however usually by +20 the enemy would have moved out of its position. alas. take hope that you could have checked this up before you issued the +20 command). today, i feel like shouting to mr LTC, "charge!"
they say demand gives rise to supply. what do you think.
