I should write this down before i forget.
on sunday i went for the rj chorale concert. after the concert i met up with the biggest lot of chorale persons i ever seen in the past two years. bx and jc aside, there were ms low, victor, jolin, geraldine, ting ting, sicheng, jing jing (the junior one), gerald, mohan, wilfred, and some others that i've not met before, like reginald and his gang of piano-voice deut champions (damn good. seriously) wow. the j5 batch had a little chat above city link until quite late, before parting ways to head home. the ns kids received many advice on the coming uni life in nus. many thanks to those friends who are suffering inside already for their contributions.
back to today. i thought the court case was closed for me wef yesterday. i was wrong. while happily sitting in kevin moe's seat today, the defence lawyer activated me by phone. very ironically after i put down the phone, jessica (vice-principal) came in to ask about the court case. =(. So i went back again today, finally showed up in front of oh-his-honour-but-only-LTC. so that's what a military court looks like. i didnt manage to see the crest which i was briefed previously to bow to. quite taken aback by the new experience, really. apparently i wasnt much help to the defence, i hope the lawyer realised. after being dismissed, i talked to pragas and apparently this sort of thing goes on all the time. well i guess it has to be true since we have so many nsf around at any one time, surely just 1% of disobedience will keep the cmc busy all year round. if i have a chance i really should catch up with the defence lawyer to ask her how she feels about fighting the case. i've always wondered how would it feel.
i guess being a professional requires you to play your role no matter if it's for or against your own morals. as the case with mm lee very very long ago, imagine you win one of those cases when you know very well that your client is guilty. ouch.
next topic: revival. today got many nonsense to talk about. it's one of those "inspirational" days. revival can easily qualify as one of those names to be used for rv related stuff. we had dragons alive, revolution, revile, etc etc. i was also thinking of two major dates that happened around 3 days ago. one was the return of bx from australia, marking the resumption of practices and the decision to purchase the audio equipment. the second, i've forgotten. i dun think it was my ord, that was too long ago. there's something that was quite impt back then but somehow slipped my mind.
