i'm supposed to be either sleeping or working on my failed presentation. but i'm doing neither.

on friday night we sent off joshua and also celebrated su hui's birthday at the airport. it was a bit embarassing tho, with the yellow banner flags that cheerfully read happy birthday. and we also sang i think three songs for joshua. hope the year ahead is fine for all, esp our two stars for the night. incidentally audrey and i took the same bus home, so we had a little chat along the way. maybe i should talk to them about non-work related things more often, since she was like "you're always talking about work" to the point that she was taken aback by me talking about my life. well, i dun say much about it because one, i have a record that i'm not too proud about and perhaps even a bit embarassed of. two, i do find myself boring and i dun think that people would be interested to hear of such things. nonetheless i shared what i tot with her until she got off at her stop.

and sunday was my dad's birthday. i actually almost forgot about it, thankfully on saturday after attending xqrj (go xq!) roadshow, no one jio-ed me for things so i was left to walk around cineleisure briefly before going home for dinner (yueting was kind enough to try to jio. but i tot it wasnt a good idea since you normally jio ppl to join yourself instead of joining other ppl who didnt jio the fella) and so i caught the celebration dinner with dabao-ed food from some steak restaurant, and the ice cream durian cake. my father likes durians quite a bit.

and now i'm in hall, presentation not finished, stomach still full from the noodles. seems like the impact i left behind also destroyed whatever trust there was in the first place. someone once told me that trust is the most difficult thing to rebuild. i'm sorry if i had destroyed whatever you had, and hope that with time it will come back to you.
