just attended a lecture by a MIT prof. i dunno if it's really because he's a better lecturer than my other lecturers, or it's just that he's a new face so i pay more attention. but it was a great lecture, nonetheless. makes me excited about academics, which hasnt really happened for a long time.

on the other note, morning has passed quietly. happy chinese new year, guys.

i strained my left leg muscle last night at the practice, so i cant quite lift my left leg at the moment. it's amusing. i didnt know what it meant exactly until i left the room and started climbing the stairs. woohoo. and i re-realised how much i dun like crowds. or happy people. something is probably not right with me. i'm supposed to be bringing up the next batches of citizens and i myself do not like happy crowds. that just doesnt make sense. maybe it's a reflection of what i'm missing myself, though why that is the current case i cannot explain. it just is, at the moment anyway.
