another failed lesson. students came in late and quite a few missing. i tried to ignore that and taught them anyway. took too long on the experiment waiting for answers. tutorial was not actually covered, i merely went over the answers with them. i foresee there will big big problems from CA.

we're in a lose-lose situation. they are not interested, and i can't seem to communicate to them. at this rate nothing will go right on its own... yet i dun see how to begin changing this situation. i need to take half a lesson to talk about expectations.

then again, i think i am failing big time communicating with most of them. why is it so difficult. am i assuming too much or just out of context. students are concerned with scores and staying out of trouble... i dun feel any love or curiosity there. which is completely abnormal. scaffold?
