trying to control my temper. it's better now already, else i wun really be typing very sensibly at all. quite upset that my friend is presently appearing to be rather bochap about passing me something i am supposed to buy over. not to mention i paid him quite long ago. previously he told me we'll be meeting at bishan and then just now he tells me he'll be staying in suntec till 4. i've already planned to go see this sensei from bishan, dun pull me all around the island to get something you forgot to bring to camp, thank you. as you can see i'm really not very happy about the whole thing. if he's not going to make things easy for me then nevermind thank you keep the money i'll go buy it at the shops for 15 dollars less than what i paid you. okay. done with that. rockapella has this song, quite good to listen to at times, i'll copy down the chorus here. while it's downloading, it's called smilin'. okay i'm wrong, it's keep on smilin'. here goes. "keep smilin' through the rain, laughin' at the pain, just flowin' with the changes, till the sun comes out again" it's good.
anyhow attended rv agm this morning... things look calm so far. good good. unfortunately i wasnt there to see the pre-agm-appointments-leak-and-people-start-talking portion, since i was about half hour late *again*. ah well. anyhow it's also open house, but rv wasnt singing cos they performed for the previous open house (for geps) weird eh... didnt remember having separate open houses. anyhow they're gonna kick away all the gep teachers... so what is it about geps? dun get. by the time i finish my nie studies there'll be no more gep in ri, just the raffles programme, and i'm somewhat disturbed cos honestly i dun think the gep was meant for such a large number of students, to me it calls for lots of attention from the teachers to each student, tending to their individual and unique needs. that's an ideal model, but it's impractical if you have too many students and too much to teach. and that's what you get when you bring it to the masses. some people think gep is about teaching more advanced things in advance. i think it's about getting the students used to learning ahead of themselves, propelled hopefully by interest, will to succeed, whatever. i'm takling too much nonsense liao, later kena hamtam by the guys, so much for being the only gep in our age.
oh yah, went to budak last night, pretty lucky to get in in the first place, and actually i had a table at first, but er it wasnt that fantastic a place so i shifted after a while. anyhow it was a good preformance, they did quite a number of songs, including a handful that i havent heard before, so i had quite a good laugh, really. still going strong, those guys. there was this section by er double j from er power 98 but er i think it's quite off. sorry mans, but those two guys just didnt fit. besides that, i thought i should be expecting ngam but they didnt come, or didnt sing, whatever. and the rest of the night was good, had another cest la vie (this is just to diao jc) mm while i was still at the table i chatted a little with the woman sharing the table (until her husband came that is) the two of them first heard budak at one of those park concerts, then she surfed the web and found out about blue moo. okay... nice to see how big the fan club has grown. they're probably the most successful, and one of the oldest, just hope they dun go that soon. ah well.
