another day. i havent been blogging. well i'm not the only one i guess.

was chatting when i came across the typical scenario. to save something that you dun want, or just ignore it and hope it goes away. my current book (intuition @ work: at work and at play) says i should trust my intuition and not just my reasoning. i couldnt find that intuitive voice. in the end i did the saving thing. (which reminds me of a joke on jackson today. "in order to continue your diet when visiting nydc, you must do a 2d6 saving throw for 13 or greater) i guess i'm just pro-creation. we'll see how things go.

went out with jackson, kenneth and wei tak today, nice and tiresome trip around suntec. we met these people selling card holders. let me try to quote what the guy said. "it's to help those unemployed. you can buy one of these card holders for $10 and we'll give you another one free. you can probably buy it for $3 outside but buying this will help the unemployed" i had difficulty understanding how it helps. looks like a scam to me. so i turned him down lor. maybe i should have advised him to quit while he can. anyhow the 4 of us went to nydc, window shop all over suntec, then finally decided that we're all too tired and should go home. but we did settle on meeting up again for tmr's lunch. lol. so much for the famous cadet conference =P

sis went for an interview today with a research company and got the post. decent pay and nice job description i think. hope it goes well. i myself did three more applications for tuition, thanks to jc's lobangs from the straits times classifieds. wonder how it'll turn out.

i'm still learning to come to terms with myself.

alas. things arent quite moving. so it's my last day at work. but it doesnt feel like what i imagined it would be. maybe it's because i messed up the wgx, maybe. sigh. i dun seem to be able to end anything on a proper note. i think it's me.

hehe.

waiting for details for saturday's adventure. oc's going down to australia in late april. everyone's taking it easy for a while, and i think that's good cause there might not be another chance as good as this. this is life. monday will be me getting fft back day. hurray! heh. i'm so addicted to games =P

i just set up the computer (no. 3) in my bed room. it is designated to follow me to hostel / temporary room in uni. i call it task force bon-takun. try not to ask why. well in any case i've sent in the warranty (pre-assembled! *gasp*) online so all should be well, other than me having to donate more equipment to the saf very soon. sigh.

4 working days left. as it draws closer i feel more and more lonely. hopefully hqmoe will be a friendly place. hopefully the days spent wandering will not devour my remaining sanity. hopefully i'll survive.

hai.

went to nus with jc bx and aloysius. yong tai starred for a short while and quickly disappeared too, sadly. the whole place was too big to take in at one shot, so we got tired out pretty quick haha. in the end we attended the faculty talks, then went to see the uni activity clubs, and left for lunch at this jap restaurant. quoting bx : "we must go eat at somewhere with air-con" it was really hot and all of us were sweating, so haha.

also found some pirated cds shops, two of them. havent seen any of them for so long so this is my first time in i think 1 or 2 years. lol. dad and sis are very keen on going to old airport for this particular dish, not sure what it is, but i think we're going tmr. oh and i found this new packet soup from campbell, it's mushroom cheese flavoured. sounds tempting. i shall try it soon, and burn it off too if i actually go swimming tomorrow hehe

Home.

ai, i made my dad wait an hour for me outside the camp. the meeting dragged on when the signal staff came out to conference. i shouldnt have asked my dad to come at 7.30. and the desktop didnt come. argh.

so what's it going to be?

i just signed up to be a part-time tutor. pray very hard that the students dun end up with like F9 kind of grade. my only time tutoring brought wonderful results that bettered mine. my only other attempt that even came close to tutoring was quite a disaster. the student got excellent results that bettered mine too, except that the tuition only lasted one month so i think it was her own effort. actually i think i had no part to play in either student, except to give them some shortcuts here and there.

i'm quite tempted to mail again.

just sent a mail to -bug- michelle, my moe agent. still wondering about that attachment job. what's it going to be? on or off?

going to nus open house tomorrow with juncai, bx, yuan tai and aloysius. wow. looks like it's going to be a PARTY. uni life. i spoke with tze kiat / ernest for a short 15min on uni, looks like i still have no idea what's it like. i dun feel any stress at all haha. then again, who would last if he's stressed even before the battle?

going to war next next week. pbh from tuesday to thursday. war is coming. 9 more working days left in ns. starting to pick up the pace of the battle prep. my last battle at the war game centre.

seems like everything's fine. i'd like to ask. things always seem fine dun they. seem.

craig seems confident that he's handling well. i'm just going to play 4 days of oc, 4 days of 2ic, and 1 day of oo. hey, when's that 2ic coming in man... march ending already still no news one =(

1. collapse of dear tower.
seems like the tower next door has collapse / is collapsing. i thought it was quite new. what the #($*^(%$^. that's pretty fast for a new tower to collapse. then again the name sounds familiar somehow. has it been around for some time? i really dunno. but i'm worried. help help jc.

2. exciting saturday.
went out with bx and ljc to bx's place, followed by bugis. we were searching for xie zhen jis, and then settled on these two books. had to rush off so didnt manage to see the books get purchased. today is fish leong's concert. non sequitur. rushed for my music lesson and got there in time, thankfully. my teacher thinks that i made some improvement. i credit it to my few sessions of practice, swimming, badminton, meeting teachers and juniors. life is very good to me.

swimming!

i finally got down to it. ooh i'm so happy. swam 32 lengths breast stroke and 4 lengths freestyle. i think my freestyle is totally pathetic although the breast stroke is still pretty up to my usual standards. there was this lady who just kept going and going. very scary. i think she must have done at least 10 lengths without stopping. i only did up to 12 lengths one shot. whoa. so happy.

there's still water in my right ear. heehee. okay i've done enough swimming for the week lol.

tomorrow's adventure: career fair @ suntec! (with either ljc or my sis, dunno which one yet)

walalalalala.

cleared out my hotmail. it's my only means of receiving communications now. blog is my second and only other means of sending out. okay well there's still sms, etc, but these things tend to cost -quite- a lot if you want to talk overseas. haha.

went tout with jc for like 40 mins of badminton today. turns out that the badminton hall was quite a pleasant place to play at, not to mention the kind old folks (but pretty damn skillful), the free shower (muahahaha but i forgot to bring soap), the nearby swimming pool, and of course the schoolgirls playing (lol. kidding.) honestly it was a very nice place. it had like 12 badminton courts, all with the nets in place already (wow! happens that i just declared today that we've lost our badminton net) and with so many courts, there's practically no need to fight over it! well, of course this is without consideration for badminton competition events, or indoor netball (which uses the same space, alas)

very well it was. i showered there without soap while jc waited in the hall (i suppose he was getting quite impressed, either watching the old folks or the schoolgirls play) and then we checked out the swimming pool after that. since the badminton racket was pretty difficult to keep so i gave up the idea of swimming. it was like $1, anyways. i intend to try tomorrow hehe. oh yeah i got a blister on my index finger from badminton. seems like it happens pretty often. maybe i should get a full glove lol.

jc went to orchard after we parted ways, to look for a temp job. apparently some foot massage place rejected him. i guess it takes that long to learn how to massage properly, so working temp is pretty much out of the question. hehe. for me? i dunno yet. no answers from my dear agent at moe, so i really dun know if i've got that job or not. if not then it doesnt matter, it's not like they were going to give me any pay, anyways. the extra freedom just needs to be taken care of. =)

moo moo. my sister commented that my "an jing" did not sound anything like the song. i was busy trying to complain how whacko jay is for having such a weird score. hehe.
