some things don't happen just once. i'm still in my office. of course there are other instances of things that dont strike singularly but i don't really want to go into that.

many people quite on about meeting up around this time of the year, maybe course a handful of them ar eback from overseas studies. cool. jc and sec4 class both want to meet, rit also, and the most magnificent one is still the moetsl gang. they feel like 13 turning to 14. i think i'll get shot down for typing this.

what ever happened to style? like csl says, it's childish. there's nothing impressive. i'm dying to find another group out there who is doing our sort of music. also dying to recover my voice standards to match that in j1/2. we need to find that level of maturity, of dependability. something we cant really learn from the guys out there.

victor is still around. maybe i should offer to help him while waiting for the computer to decide that it ought to listen to my commands.

okay conversion not done yet. more crapping.

went to the dentist today for my first adjustment. it was surprisingly violent (yah yah i get surprised once every six weeks by the same thing) and also damn fast. i was out of the building before my actual appointment time. so i went j8 for a good lunch at mos, together with my library book ("The Shambala guide to k****" -censored-) after arrival at the office i attempted to focus on searching for emerald's misplaced file but kena distracted again (which actually already happened once on tuesday)

wonder what's for dinner today. heard my mei is flying around perth area, sounds reasonably fun and also i assume that means she's pretty much recovered from the vehicle incident. learnt that my range is only good up (or rather down) to Db. not very good. i think i'm losing it. bx was excitedly talking about arranging so in love, and the prototype looks pretty good too.

if the computer is going to fail again it'l probably declare it soon.

moe and nus are pretty much settled. now waiting for news of... well everything, actually. next event is saturday morning's surety session, followed by obs. no news from the apc people, looks like i cant squeeze extra time out for my own stuff liaos.

on the train to school i suddenly noticed the bass line for the negima songs. surprisingly energetic. might be a real pain to pull off but it's quite a boost to the song's spirit. we'll see. i also ought to practice more on my own, on and offline.

saw shen ting at j8 today but i didnt talk to him since he was with his friends.

feeling serioiusly overaged. am i really 84? did i really have a normal childhood? or was my rv junior damn right in his statement (which i'm still fighting to disprove)

sigh. i'm stuck in school doing video conversions. the computer keeps on reporting that it's out of space and i really don't know why. and it only does so after waiting for about 20mins =(

since i've just restarted the conversion which will take 35 minutes if it's successful, i might as well type something, anyway it has been a while since i last typed. i've been transfered to under seow ling to attempt to help her save the present financial state. also playing with a few things now. let's just list them to waste time.

noticeboard title for denise: almost done! technical drawings for half the words are done but havent cut or paste yet. should be good although i havent tackled the most difficult drawing yet (requires joining construction paper and alot of patience)

video footage of new students for jessica: a handful more to go, i proposed to her that we catch a good 5-7 mins per student today. if possible i really should go back to film the first batch again. 3 minutes is too short to tell anything about the kid.

bookshop accounting for seow ling: despite having been on this job for i think a month now, it's still far from completion. seow ling found some things to improve on (which i was too lazy to do anything about thus far) and hopefully the whole mess will eventually be cleared up.

happy to report that the donation collection has been handed over to jasmine, while the progress booklets have only two books left so also passed over to her (i think she took over, anyway.) started a exams analysis file today for denise, have to hand over the soft copies to sheau mei and annie or else they will have to start over (which is not much different actually since i worked based on formulas and name lists)havent went through the ns men mup claim with seow ling. hm anything else? scoreboard for jessica, i think she still wants more work on it but she didnt tell me what (i mean like hey the wall is partially covered with papers, that's so not right). i finished the medical claims and mc filing as of today so that's good for a while.

don't think i'll stay around long enough to do the stationery accounting, which is a good thing. germaine's job is peaking soon so good luck to him and victor for the exhibition. although i havent seen much of the final product myself.

just saw emerald's message. her fever sounds very bad. hope she recovers soon, else it might affect her overseas trip.

last attempt at conversion! i'll go home after this!

i think i should be feeling angry, or upset. but i don't. or at least there's no overwhelming emotion here. wth.

been looking through the new mail group... highly suspecting that most if not all of them are not working. maybe the more quiet ones are. but here comes the ultimate question. if you have not been working for the past 3mths (or 7mths for the girls) wth have you been doing??!?!?!

seems like quite a number of people are falling sick. sis is sick. emerald is having fever. i'm not sick yet but i'm very tired, partially due to the weekends' activities, eg prac and doing up the board letterings.

went to hq today, was a nightmare to find out that there was a "icebreaker" game to let us learn how to be like damn nice when asking the officers for favours. welcome to the bottom rung (again.) sis is home! dinner round 2! =)

hmm.

screwed up jessica's document today by excluding it entries instead of including them. oops. looks like i'll have to make up for the mistake asap tomorrow morning. it was a rushed job so i guess the quality simply wasnt there anymore. must go and reflect about this. 2.5hrs more to lights out timing.

wanted to put up a fake ad in the office a couple of days ago (before my screw up lah) boring magician for hire - will try to do whatever magic that you ask for. low pricing of $5 an hour. no license. hire at your own risk. results not guranteed.

today's itinery: keyboard, shower, dinner, read textbooks, sleep.

mum and dad just came back from their trip, looks like they've enjoyed themselvse. good thing.

hai. very painful to imagine the story so far. but then have to wait for at least one week before the next episode is released =( pain ah pain ah.

Hm. watched ep 24 this morning. it's starting to get disturbingly emotional. i was practically tearing for the 25mins. and the last portion was very very disturbing.

to think just yesterday i was still upset about my collegue. that was about her not being flexible about her work. i put up a resistance which was also quite upsetting i guess. anyway i have to insist that the solution has not been found although she might not have noticed that her signage is already one-quarter off the wall.

what should we do when we think a friend is not doing the right thing? tell them? if they don't change, should we still support them in their way or to correct them to see your point?

what then, if your own interest will clash with theirs? will you still support them? or will you give in to your own desires?

i think yue finally buay tahan liao. fortunately for me i've never had to come to this point. yet.

??????

testing message. it's not supposed to appear on the web correctly.

been spending a good deal of time darting about. but most of all i notice i'm losing energy in the office. and losing patience. been trying to do up the suppliers database. from the looks of today's progress, i think i wouldnt be able to finish within this week. i think. good thing is there's no prac, no medical appointment, but i'm not focusing on my work. i think maybe i have to seriously consider smuggling the files out of office to some quiet corner that's more productive for me.

was quite surprised by the response to the leaflets we sent out, by afternoon there were about 5 calls inquiring about the job vacancy. not bad at all. maybe i should deploy the same method to get a tutee. unfortunately for people like me, my flat has the newer mailboxes, the kind that can lock out spam mail. haha.

hai. just received the nus notifications. hmhm, dun really have the mood to go through it in detail for now though, haha. i browse through it and didnt spot anything like "you have been rejected from this school" so i take it as a good sign.

prac tomorrow! tons to prepare for. medical checkup, skin treatment, etc etc. well actually that's all there is. i forgot to remind jessica i'm on half day, hope she doesnt need me. flying chickens. i saw the brochure for science fac camp. i'm so not going lol. sorry man. i havent even consolidated those un-siam-able dates for jessica to vet yet. especially that obs camp. goodness i dowan to go thru that =(

had the idea to thank kenneth today. on the way home i thought about how understanding and responsible to always be waiting for his forever-late oo. how accepting for his oo's round the clock comments on work (eg 1am: hey kenneth have you done up the paper yet?) and he practically always waited for me although on a few rare occasions he gave up waiting, or fell asleep while waiting (there was this once he fell asleep on the office safari bed. very funny.) mm. truly blessed i am to have this buddy for almost two years.

i just accepted jo's invitation for another insurance chat over evening time tea. this one is thanks to the tan kai wei (who very proudly tried to sell her to us i guess) hm. she doesnt sound daunted at all when i mentioned that i already have like three insurance policies (but still loving life, thanks very much.) we shall see tomorrow.

i noticed that i have been blogging quite seldomly. it's only today that i noticed hx's post. hey how's you? (in the afternoon i had a weird concept about trying to explain singlish. imagine like "use lah in the following context, but leh in this context" nvm.) i have been quite tired also. it was when i used to leave the office regularly at 4pm that i blogged so much (too much energy) this week i have been leaving at 6-ish so here i am typing (although i'm supposed to be showering. heater might explode soon.) those days that i left at 8 or 9 you wouldnt catch me blogging.

life in the GO after evon left is apparently unsettled as yet. jessica apparently hunted her down over the phone to ask about accounting stuff again, and i think it wouldnt stop anytime soon. i did quite a bit of reading today and almost (actually i practically did lah.) fell asleep over the file. thanks to the milo i managed to survive barely until 4pm, after which suddenly i felt more awake. huh. dunno why. i also bought my very own hack-and-slash art knife so i dun have to keep reaching over to delly's cubicle to steal her knife. oh yah, speaking of that i have infested evon's cubicle so now i have my own cubicle, a computer, a dot matrix printer (with no ink) and my very own telephone line (look ma, no parallel lines!) oh, and there's a shelf too. heh.

been going a little wild with the negima screen mates. yuuei has been on my desktop for i think four days in a row. yesterday nodoka joined in too. =)

i'm going a bit nuts with the negima thing. hehe.

haii. had a crazy evening and night with the guys, badminton and dinner at s11. came home to get a stunning surprise. =(

i dropped by j8 popular and bought a max stapler remover. i still think my own model is better but i guess mum is right when she pointed out that the plastic one i have breaks more easily than the max one. metal mah. what else to expect? i'll probably see if delly can find a use for it, or jessica. if no one likes it then i'll take it for myself. although i really do think it's sort of difficult to use. i quote my sister, "all the offices i worked at uses this model!" so i guess it cant be that bad. durability is important, after all.
