it's the season of hall recruitment. me putting my name down for the same old things that i'd usually put my name down for. not much spirit of adventuring there i guess.

i lied twice today within 20 minutes. may the beings above (or whereever) forgive the white lies.

havent gotten down to doing work lol. i shall start with the shower then.

last christmas.

going to sleep soon. was trying out this tutorial which i thought i could understand. but then i had to see my misunderstanding very soon when i hit this question, which almost made me do the amazing "assume r is true. (do some pointless operations) thus r is true" trick. almost. i'm like running out of liquid paper thanks to these worksheets

go ahead. ignore me.

bx pasted my own picture on my desktop. it's quite disturbing.

hug hug.

been hugging this big blue book for a while now but it seems like all i'm doing is hugging it, not actually reading its contents as it is meant for.

sheesh.

and it's not nice to hug at night when i'm sleeping.

cooling down.

it's sort of funny how i'm supposed to have been quite hyped up about coming to uni. i wasnt. wrestled with the cors system (just like everyone else i guess) for most of today and yah in the end it worked out fine. round 2a has been extended too just so that everyone can be convinced that they have enough time to log in so there's no need to crash the system. the time extension really helped. me was taking my time to log in at 7pm.

played minesweeper in between trying to read through my text. sigh. what's up with concentration.

for fans of ze: he's turning 21 soon! congrats to ze! the guys will be meeting up with him to celebrate lol. there's a rit meeting tmr and another seperate party later on.

btw there's this little beetle lying on its back in front of my feet now. sheesh.

finally sat down to search for the book title on Amazon.com (quite a comprehensive catalogue, somehow.) to AST: paiseh, i finally found the title. it's Peter Sykes' a guide to mechanism in organic chemistry. if you're interested i guess it's worth your time. i was also wrong about it not being in the nlb. it is, just not in the public loan section. so i'm trying to reserve a copy through the used repository. trying, no results yet.

waiting at the computer to do tutorial bidding. life has been very good without tutorials, so i guess our little honeymoon is coming to an end. (bx has wednesdays without classes. wth. well it's only for these two weeks anyway) initially i had the concept that tutorial registration is first come first served, but seems like the one through cors is not the case. basically just bid and pray hard. for me i am quite limited in certain module timeslots (had to plan out all possible variations of my modules the army way. *sweat*) so well let's hope for the best then. the worse case scenario is simply a mad rush between one or two lessons every week lah, no big deal. nus is not -that- big.

havent done blogging for a while (in fact i really should be looking at my shriver and atkins now) so i'll just indulge a little more. this coming saturday must be the most uncertain one i've had. i dun even know whether i'm going out on friday night, staying home on saturday morning, or what. aiyah, whatever lah. hope i at least remember to send the blessings to the twins out there.

honestly i'm not doing all that well in uni. i mean like if you want to just see if i can survive, i think that's not a problem. but i'm not doing well in the sense of the kind of pace i was at in jc. it certainly helped to have people that are pulling you in front, now i'm pretty much on my own and i must admit, i'm not that good by myself. struggling the other day to accept some calculus terms. i'm also finding more and more flaws in my maths. i also skipped yesterday's tsl outing to essential brew (i think it would have been such a nice trip though) cos i got back all sweaty from the taiji tryout session and by the time i was ready to leave they have already left the campus for 20 whole minutes.

laundry in the wash, and me just trying to register for my tutorials. sigh. another time then.

finally looked through my uni requirements again. well well. okay it's plainly impossible to finish a double major in four years due to the maximum limitation of 7 modules per semester. not like it's going to be easy anyway. i've finally found the graduating requirements specific for my degree and matched them with moe's requirements. actually got quite a lot of options later on, can chiong some damn fun stuff =P

i think i must be crazy. pff pff.

madness. madness and madness and madness. alot of things have happened but i think i'm quite the overwhelmed. by the time i sit down to try and type it all in i'm like blank. sheesh.

heard ze's staying overseas for one final year before he'll be back to join us again. good good.

there's alot of bonding amongst the tsl people but i can only say that i havent been involved. not even for rag day, man. i was skiving at home on saturday. anyway 3am suppers sounds pretty extreme although i doubt i will turn it down if i'm still awake at 3am.

i actually sat down to play 2 hours of fft today. i think it was the first time i played for a month or so. the last time being gba negima. for now my life consists of mainly academics and academics and yah, maybe some cca, some music. some computers. some books. the same gang of friends. a little bit of tsl, not much yet. oh and sleep. i think i should go catch some sleep now, in fact.

first day of school tomorrow!

hall has became a rather scary place. it's almost as if when you belong to kevii you have really sold your body and soul to them (and having paid them 1.7k) and you do not belong to anyone or anything else, not even yourself. i'm in the process of planning my escape.

on the other note, i'm one quarter through my final arc project. it's going quite slowly so i'm just hoping damn hard that i can hit past the half way mark before leaving the house later. sigh.
