kevin's coming to visit. shockingly he and zhiwei were classmates for like many many years. i was damn shocked to see them sitting together in the yih study room today.

we cleared up the cac room today, and it looks so much neater for the time being. and the budget meeting went smoothly. the prac didnt go as smoothly as i wished but still much progress were made and i learnt a thing or two about what edmund and derek meant. and wei lee. sometimes we have to prioritise.

and learn to be content and happy. or in the least, on the surface.

some of things that we do, i'll never agree with them in principle.

spent a good sunday doing close to nothing. must seriously pick up speed before it's too late. and i'll be going home so it'll take a while to adjust. maybe that's a good thing. staying around this area sometimes irks me. just like everytime we hit that part of the song, i just get irritated for no reason. i need to shut things out.

almost wanted to move this blog. then i remembered mei linked to my page. so nvm i'll just leave it.

i want to move on.

When i blog more often it means one of several things.
1) i'm too free therefore i blog to waste time
2) i'm too stressed therefore i blog as a break from work
3) i'm feeling philosophical therefore i blog nonsense thoughts

something like that. it's 2am and i just finished two proposals. postponing project deckie till tomorrow. waiting for hair to dry before i sleep, and i fully intend to sleep until i wake up on my own accord. no alarms will get me tomorrow. maybe i should even switch off my phone (which is atypical of operations staff)

i feel a bit relieved now that it's over. and i think i really should try to focus on each module a little more next sem so perhaps i should review the modules plan. actually now is good. okay i shall go look thru the blue file again.

darn. spent like an hour since last night searching for jiayan's blog. this sort of thing always happens... the more i cant figure out how it happened to davina the more i'm trying to find the right keywords. =( and that is why i havent done the second question for today's tutorial. but hey, today ends at 2pm (i just realised) cos prof chin is out of the country. and there's no 2101 tutorial at 5pm. so life is good, i have a 4 hr day today. omg! =D

now since when did i start to use kenneth's =D...

oh and i never got to meet up with kenneth before he flew off again cos of the cac meeting which i went for. there was also practice with reso anyway. aiyah but i havent met the 4sab ppl for damn long liao. sian.

finally finished the gig. it turned out well, with not-so-appreciative audiences. i also got myself into trouble by agitating audrey, who then setup a counter manoeuver and now i'm in serious trouble. the good news is maybe i can try to catch up on work now that there's no more practice on weekends. the bad news is, voco found my achilles heel. damn.

i just want to insert here that the temasek a cappella group really impressed me. an excellent job done by all the singers and the teacher in charge as well. amazing stuff. i look forward to the future of a cappella in singapore.

guan zhen celebrated her birthday today by being conned to waikit's room and getting ambushed by water, mayo, egg and peanut butter along the way. i got caught in the crossfire while walking out with my biscuit in my mouth (supper) to check out the commotion. happy birthday guan zhen. took a while to wash off the peanut butter.

just watched aca fest. mm... the first half was killed by the sound system so i shouldnt comment. it sucks to watch the singers sing their hearts out but the speakers barely moving. the technicians redeemed themselves in the second half tho.

was highly irritated but some fella trying to rap over the beatboxing. it was so wrong. the beatboxer would sound so much better if he did it alone. and they also forgot to mention that he holds the only long note with a pitch while doing percussion at the same time.

sleepy. many hw to be done tmr. zz.

during prolonged study periods i tend to take breaks here and there, so here's one of them. anyway i'm still waiting to do liaising online so cant really do very much. read lecture notes maybe? hmhm.

had a pleasant 6hr day today. probably the shortest since the 2hr tuesdays in the first two weeks. i actually got nothing done, besides finishing (in the end it was more like anyhow do) qm tutorial 2 between 4 and 6pm, and trying fruitlessly to solve the mystery of the consecutive sums recorder.

sigh, was talking to mei just now and seems like everyone's getting more stressed. maybe next sem i ought to consider taking things slightly slower. perhaps rethink the plan for nanoscience. and maybe take a language. waikit highly recommended that last night during the nuh trip. even laiyi is getting more stressed. ok i should go shower liao.

i should consider going into something less scientific.

recently i shifted my sleep cycle back, and regularly go on msn for coordination purposes. it's cheaper than sms. we're progressing along i guess, although i cant say that for my studies. qm is particularly disturbing cos i'm so lost. sigh. but at least the activities are moving pretty alright (i hope) and most of my subjects are still ok. not qm tho. and not geometry. hai...
