two thoughts.

1. maybe when we are trying to remove misconceptions, we introduce the very elements that lead to students developing their misconceptions. someone should try not saying anything at all, and see what the students come up with.

2. we learnt that special needs students may have issues with socialising. i am beginning to wonder whether this issue stems from the special needs student, or from those normal ones around them.

somehow i dun really know what i am in this service for. it was to pass knowledge and facilitate advancement. now, i dunno. first i realised that schools are more concerned about things other than that. than i realised that i might really not be in a position to do what i want. things remain to be seen when sch starts on tuesday. in any case, i am already pre-celebrating my sunday afternoons opening up. today is the first free slot. regardless of what they say, more will come.

hmm. practicum is almost here. I still fear for some classmates, we all have issues here and there, be it delivery, content, scientific method rigidity, or working with people. I dun even know where to start working on for myself. and we'll be out there very very soon. today's dinner shall mark our last day together as a class, before we part ways to collect stories about our individual practicum experiences. these 10 weeks will be an exciting one, a heavy one too, considering the performances along the way. and moving out of hall. many things are going to change drastically in life. =x fortunately many other things close at heart are probably going to stay consistent still =)

some ppl asked whether i was disappointed by my posting. actually not really, because i was already disappointed months ago by the reply from my alma mater. but it doesnt matter, they have every right to choose.

ironically, i think i'm luckier than my 3 friends going there. love lots, and if you need help / got interesting discussion / too bored and want to play, do involve me. i'm only down the expressway, anyway. =)

i feel like year 1 kevii again. things usually turn out for the better after a while.

you know that people listen out to different things when someone recommends a song and say it's great, but to you the background is repetitive, chordal changes unexciting, use of instruments are not something you can replicate a cappella (or should) anyway, and the only plus thing is the two soloists twirling around on the duet.

I hope they dun try to do that song.

the breeze and stars at the garden on top of hougang mall were really nice today =D and the kids learnt to keep quiet / leave after a while haha. and finally thanks for the staircase exit =p

the forecast is tmr. i'm not entirely hopeful and worse still i heard rumors that it's postponed again. but either way i'm already sian of all this nonsense. We want to know where we're posted to, not exactly who we'll be supervised by. but that simple distinction doesnt seem to sink one bit into your office walls at all.

comment on my colleagues-to-be: we might not be the best in everything, but we should strive towards it somehow. pls understand when i pick on certain things, particularly for content. I'm even further from good than you guys but most things i won't hesitate to speak out anyway. after all, we are a good bunch, and we should be capable of very good things.

dinner today was good but sleepy =D
