what do i believe in?

I believe in reason. In cause and effect. In communication. In trust. I believe not everyone is worth believing. But everyone can earn that trust. I believe in stepping out, but half the time i am also afraid of failure. I believe in commitment. I believe words, music, emotions and actions can convey alot, and also be the source of conflict half the time. I believe in taking things easy, but I end up being a worrier most of the time. I believe in personal space.

I could go on, but perhaps capturing what I can list in 2 minutes is more meaningful than letting myself get greedy.

What do you believe in?

B: Oh I never had a problem with it, although everyone says it's so hard. But I have been scoring As and Bs since dunno when.

overseas community involvement project. what are we looking for?
what processes or checkpoints demarcate learning and maturity?
what evidence point at a worthwhile trip?

I think, at the bottom of it all, going in with the right attitude determines your takeaway. This principle can be generalised to life. What attitude are you carrying today?

the pessimist in me says, "ok. what if they do? are you prepared to respond?"

i think all those years of army and hall and other operations taught me to be pessimistic. but i think i like it this way. oh well.
